Avoid the snowbird crowds and Winter Texan at Pecan Park Riverside RV. We are in Central Texas, conveniently located between Austin and San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country, with a personal entrance to the San Marcos River.
We are a family owned park in the Texas Hill Country. Nothing’s better than being near a campfire, under the stars, enjoying the moonlight and stargazing–and there is no better place than at Pecan Park Riverside RV Park. Our park is about four minutes from town, yet tucked far enough away that you won’t hear planes, buses, traffic, or trains. River fog from the San Marcos River and beautiful sunrises coming from the east Caldwell County skies create a pleasant place to ride your bike, or enjoy your daily walk.
Winter Texan rates begin September 9 and run through March 9. We are one of few parks that run on fiber optics for cable and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is at every site via multiple towers throughout the park. Cable is at every site–no box needed. Our large sites are level and can easily accommodate the biggest rigs with multiple slide-outs to the smallest RVs with no slides.
Our laundry room has eight washers and dryers, an ironing board and iron, a folding table, and a laundry cart to accommodate your laundry needs. Our bath house has two restrooms with showers. We have an indoor heated saltwater pool and hot tub that also has a restroom and shower. Our Activity/rec room has two restrooms with jacuzzi-style tubs for when you want that bathtime most RVs can’t give, games, puzzles, DVDs and a kitchenette area for gatherings or when you simply do not want to cook in your RV.
We are a short distance from numerous tourist attractions and sight-seeing opportunities including the shops in Wimberley, Naegelins Bakery (oldest in Texas) in New Braunfels, beautiful Canyon Lake, Salt Lick (must-have barbecue) and The Driftwood Estate Winery in Driftwood, King Ranger Movie Theatre in Seguin, Gruene Dance Hall in Gruene, Main Plaza in Boerne, and so much more. Our office has written literature on many day destinations, or you can ask one of the office staff for a recommendation.
We are less than five miles outside of San Marcos if you need anything while you are with us. There are two grocery stores, churches, a library, gas stations, a hardware store, an automotive store, restaurants, thrift shops, liquor stores, etc. all within roughly four minutes of the park. There is a post office in Martindale, two miles around the corner, as well.
We have planned activities within the park and at city events. Group gatherings, potlucks, bonfires, game nights, and more. Pick up an event calendar in the office or see it online under the Calendar tab on our website.
