San Marcos is a quiet community located on the edge of the “Texas Hill Country”, just 30 miles south of Austin and 50 miles north of San Antonio. Pecan Park is located along the San Marcos River, giving you easy access to all the San Marcos area has to offer:

Take a short 20 mile drive to the New Braunfels and Gruene area to enjoy the historic heart of the Texas Hill Country. Both towns are steeped in 19th century charm while also offering a wide array of great activities and attractions to explore. Visit the oldest dancehall in Texas – Gruene Hall.

The Capital City of Texas is only 30 miles to the north of Pecan Park.
